Pray on Purpose
What would our lives look like if we prayed on purpose?  If we came to the Lord to hear from Him BEFORE a crisis happened?
Ephesians 6:18 (Amplified Bible) says to “pray at ALL times...and watch with strong purpose...”.  Then in James 5:16 (Amplified Bible) says “...The earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in it’s working.”
Too many times we wait until we’re in a pinch, then we complain about it for awhile and then we might decide to pray.  What if we turned it around?  Let’s pray on purpose everyday, through out the day and then when a situation comes up we already know what God’s going to do and we know what we should do.  Knowing what God’s says ahead of time will give you a substance called “faith”.  You can actually stand on it and build your house on it.
We’ll be spending most of the year teaching and preaching on the prayer life.  We’ll learn about the different kinds of prayer and how prayer can make tremendous power availalbe.  But most importantly, we’ll all pray.  And as you and I pray this year we will see God answer prayer and these answers will strengthen others to pray and believe God.  We’d like to hear those answers to prayer.  Send them to us and we’ll share them withholding any names of people or businesses in order for God to receive all the glory.  Come on Spirit Life...let’s work with God in 2014 and Pray on Purpose.
Pastor Tim is going to the Holy Land with Christians United for Israel and has asked you to pray and stand in faith with him as he travels on January 7th through January 14th.  While he’s gone he’ll be visiting places like the Garden of Gethsemane, the Upper Room and getting baptized in the Jordan River.  Pray that he will receive revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit as their guide is taking them on a walk where Jesus walked.  Pray that he will have divine appointments that only God can set up.  Pray that relationships will be built and nurtured between the pastors going and that they will return with strength of purpose to stand for Israel.  We encourage you to look up Christians United for Israel,  on the web at
